JASON JANI
Jason Jani is setting new standards on the dance floor @ private events with his mobile dj entertainment services and on dance music radio. He is a multi-faceted artist, innovator, producer, remixer, entreprenuer and professional DJ.
With over 15 years of experience and 1700+ events under his wing, 800 and counting of which are weddings as a mobile disc jockey, and hundreds of hours in the mix on radio stations across the nation and globe, Jason adds a dimension to the mobile entertainment industry that is matched by very few.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Jason’s long-time passion for music led him to receive training as a mobile DJ in the 1990′s. It wasn’t long before he expanded into the nightclub arena and was rocking dance floors five nights a week in the New Jersey club circuit. In 2000, Jason started his own company, Sound Connection Entertainment, which provides customized planning and entertainment production services including enhanced lighting, video services, decor, photo booth rentals as well as live musicians and performers.
His love for the DJ entertainment industry, ability to play to any age crowd, gift of flawless music mixing, and polished MC skills have enabled Jason to materialize clients entertainment dreams for a well over a decade.
In addition to the mobile side of the DJ Industry, Jason Jani has been featured both nationally and internationally in the mix on Dance/Rhythm/Top 40 radio station mixshows. Jason’s mixshow mixes vary by station, as he embraces an “Open Format” style of play , which spans Top 40, Commercial Dance, Elecktro, Progressive House, 70′s, 80′s, 90′s Rock and Mash Up genres He puts together 30 hour-long mixes monthly, which are played on different stations across the country, internet and world.

Some of Jason’s recent accomplishments;
- In April 2010, Jason become an official endorsed artist of the prestigious entertainment equipment manufacturer Denon DJ.
- In August 2009, Jason was a featured panelist/presenter at the International DJ Times expo located in Atlantic City NJ. Jason was selected to speak about his Wedding Entertainment services.
- He was rated in 2007, 2008 & 2009 by the prestigious Deet Promotions and Promo Only as one of the Top 50 Mix Show DJs in the U.S..
- Jason placed 2nd in the 2008 Mixshow DJ of the Year award hosted by The Real Mixshow.
- Jason has been featured as the Mobile DJ of the Month by DJ Times international magazine (August 2008) titled “Jersey Jock Bust the Right Moves”, and has been selected a number of times in 2007, 2008, & 2009 for feedback and to participate in DJ Times related articles.
- Jason also works with music promotion companies such as Promo Only on a weekly basis to help artists and promotional companies mold what is commercially played on radio and in the nightclubs.
- Jason has been invited to DJ for celebrity clients such as Janet Jackson, LL Cool J, Akon and TI, as well as many professionals in the music industry across the country.
As a producer, Jason is half of the remix team deemed the Blend Brothers, that can be found on Crooklyn Clan’s Crack4DJ.net/BlendBrothers, AV8 Records, TheRemixClub.com and YourRemix.com websites.
Jason’s craft is in a constant state of evolution. His future goals include to continue to be an essential part of wedding reception celebrations in the NJ area with Sound Connection Entertainment and continuing to modernize wedding reception entertainment in the tri-state area.
